In 1969 Wedgwood introduced the Georgetown Collection. Based on 18th century prototypes produced at the old Eutria factory . Glazed with an appropriate pale grey ground upon hexagonal shapes The Kimono pattern was inspired by just that - a centuries old Kyoto kimono. A variety of peonies in a range of rusty reds and ochre yellow are sprayed across each piece. This service for 12 is in immaculate condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing.
