Pair of vintage extra large buffet lamps by bespoke lamp maker Barbara Cosgrove. Cast and turned metal candlesticks feature a waxed and purposefully patinated finish in a range of dull golds and grays. Topped by poly-beeswax drip candle covers covered by English pleated linen shades. Original Barbara Cosgrove metal tags are affixed to each cord.
Standing at 40" high - the lamps themselves have a base diameter of 9.5". Each shade measures 10" high x 7" top diameter x 14" bottom diameter.
In excellent vintage condition. Structurally sound with no dents, scratches or issues of note. Existing wiring on both lamps has been tested and is functioning fully. One lamp appears to have original wiring while the other seems to have been rewired recently. Vintage shades are in very good condition with some dust residue and minor "specks" barely visible to the naked eye. See photos for details.
