RARE SET OF EIGHT - Limed, hand carved, and silver gilt wood framed Regency Neoclassical armchairs. Each chair features a carved laurel wreath back, reeded arms ending in acanthus leaves, greek key side details, and saber legs. Cut velvet upholstery is taupe, grey, and tans with double corded edges. Includes eight matching back pads (see photo) which do not seen necessary as chairs are extremely comfortable without them. Each chair measures 23ʺW × 28ʺD × 37ʺH with seat rise from floor of 19.5" No manufacturer label, stamp, or tags. ALL ARE IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION. All chairs are beyond sturdy with minor wear/tear/dings/marks to frames commensurate with vintage status. Upholstery is in excellent condition with no visible rips, tears, wear, or stains.
