What the cluck? This charming mid-century modern studio pottery chicken tureen was hand-crafted by Montana artist Ray Campeau in the late sixties - early seventies. It's color, glaze, and form obviously influenced by his teacher -renowned potter and professor Frances Senska Slab constructed of durable stoneware it is decorated with incised "feathers". The hen's head serves as a handle for the top which separates from a commodious base. Which makes the perfect spot for serving soup or storing cookies and sweets. .Incised signature on bottom.

Measures 10" long (head to tail) x 8" wide x 8.75" high.
