MINT CONDITION - Impeccable pair of Murano fruit bookends. Apple and pear are crafted of blown glass - clear overlay with controlled bubbles infused with gold leaf flakes over celadon green core. Each feature polished pontils and a flat side to sit against books. The pear measures 4" diameter x 6.25" high. Apple measures 4.5" diameter x 4.5" high. Sans tags or labels we attribute these to Alfredo Barbini given they are of comparable quality and construction to examples from his studio. Both are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, scratches - including virtually scratch free pontils. WOW!
