Founded in 1946 in McKeesport Pennsylvania - Sabin produced "Crest-O-Gold" until the mid 1970's. The pattern features a wide band of "warranted" 22k gold along toped by a filigree embellished design and another band of gold filigree applied over an ivory ground. At the center is an 18th century couple inspired by Fragonard. With hand-painted color. Porcelain. With printed brand and pattern mark on reverse. Set of three salad plates. Each measuring 7.25" diameter x 1" high.
All three salad plates are in very good vintage condition. Some gold loss on the outer side edges. However the gold bands themselves retain the majority of their gold with some minimal tarnish and pitting. Very light - almost imperceptible surface wear/scrates. No chips, cracks, or crazing. See photos for details.
