For over a century Gardner Massachusetts was home to a thriving community of silversmiths. The Gardner Silver Company operated in the mid-twentieth century - this work most likely produced sometime in the 1960s. Beautifully hand-crafted of solid sterling silver it's oval form features a deep fluted border. Perfect for serving bread, celery, or whatever suits your fancy. Incised mark on the bottom reads "Garner Silver Co Sterling 434". Weight 12.22 troy ounces.

Measures 12" long x 7.5" wide by 1.75" high. 

In overall very good vintage condition. Commensurate with vintage age/use and repeated polishing. Main interior flat surface does display several knife scratch marks; See photo for details.
