Charming antique French Provincial Louis XV Bureau Plat - writing desk. The overall form of this piece is quite chic. Deep rose hued leather top has the type of patina only created via a century of use. Carved and incised walnut frame with signs of wear on the front, and corners. Front apron opens to reveal a single LARGE drawer that spans much of the width and depth of this antique. Overall measurements are 41" wide x 30" deep x 27" height.

This provincial piece shows the patina of a lifetime of use. It's leather top is quite lovely but includes pits, digits, dents, wear, and some minor leather loss. The walnut frame shows dings, dents, and finish loss on key stress points. That said - this bureau plat is QUALITY and beyond charming.
