Designed in 1948 by Marc Lalique - the "Dampierre" vase integrates two of Rene' Lalique's loves - flora and fauna. Winged sparrows embellished with foliage adorn this satin crystal vessel. Currently still produced, a new Lalique "Dampierre" vase retails for $925. Founded a century ago in Alsace France - Lalique artisans produce unique crystal objects d'art moulded from molten glass. Which are hand finished with up to 40 proprietary steps prior to completion.
Vintage, this eighties edition still features its original bottom labels and felt pads. Along with a hand inscribed etched signature. However it does not retain it's original box. Measures 5" high x 4.75" in diameter at its widest point.
