A crustaceous tour de force, this majolica faience centerpiece was created in Italy sometime in the fifties to sixties. Measuring a 15" long x 10" deep x 11" high it is simply a WOW. A veritable feast for the eyes of fish, crabs, leaves, plus the requisite lemon. All topped with a large and luscious red lobster.
In excellent condition. Structurally sound it has no cracks or major chips of consequence. There are a variety of old and small "dings" which are completely par for antique faience. All which only add to it's patina, charm, and appeal.
