Exceptionally rare "pair" of large and finely crafted mid-century Italian majolica centerpieces. Both feature a unique combination of white onions, green artichokes, and leaves. One is topped with an onion - the other an artichoke. All sitting above a white "basket" base. Hand glazed in a range greens whites, and creams. Both are marked "Made in Italy" on bottom with matching style numbers "137". and an "H" logo.
 
Each measures 15.25" high x 10" diameter.
 
Both are in exceptionally good condition and are structurally sound. The pair do have some ver minor and subtle glaze loss, cracks, and crazing which is quite normal with aged faience. See photos for details.
