This delightful sewing basket was crafted by Heywood-Wakefield in the twenties. Features weathered "berry pink" paint finish. Perfectly sized for use as an end table - it's "basket" top opens to reveal a hideaway for one's knitting, mending, cross stitch, or secret stash. The handle makes it easy to tote wherever, whenever. And the bottom shelf is ready for a plant, what not, or why not. The original label remains on the shelf bottom but has been painted over. However close inspection reveals this is by Heywood-Wakefield. Measures 16" wide x 12" deep x 26.5" high. In excellent condition, there are no structural issues of note - very sturdy. The wicker itself shows no major missing areas and remains flexible/pliable. Paint finish shows minor signs of wear. See photos for details.
