Crafted in the 1960's by the venerable "To The Trade" firm of Meyer Gunther Martini (MGM) New York. Features original heavy-weight "horsehair" upholstery (see label photo for content details) in citron yellow. Comparable fabrics (Scalamandre Old World Weavers Paso) sell for $1000 plus a yard. Unique custom welting detail, contrasting striped damask back, down/feather cushion, and hand-carved solid wood frame are further bespoke elements.
Measures 41.25" wide x 25" deep x 36" high. In excellent vintage condition.
Upholstery shows virtually no wear. Nor rips, pulls, or tears. Frame has some minor areas of wear and nicks commensurate with vintage age/use. Slight loss to a small portion of the cambric covering on underside. See photos for details.
