American Brilliant Period glass was produced between 1876 and 1918. Lead crystal "blanks" were embellished with deeply incised/cut geometric patterns.
This bowl is decorated with an intricate pattern of deeply cut pinwheels, hob-stars, and fans. Topped by a scalloped "sawtooth" rim. Quite heavy - when "pinged" it resounds with a deep ring that only comes from lead crystal.
Measures 9" diameter x 4" high.
