This beautiful example of cut crystal is nothing to trifle with. That is unless you opt to dazzle your guests by serving one in it. By the turn of the last century - American glass manufacturers had developed a state-of-the-art technique. By which intricate geometric patterns could be deeply cut into a crystal base. The exterior of this the bowl is decorated with deeply cut patterns ending with a scalloped "sawtooth" edge. 
 
Measures 8" diameter x 4" high.
 
In very good antique condition with no structural issues, cracks, etching, or clouding. As with most cut bowls of this vintage there are three chipped "saw tooths" which are smooth to the touch. See photos for details.
