The ultimate western exposure! This antique chest has been embellished with a hand-painted homage to America's western frontier. Front and two sides feature hand-painted images on a charcoal gray ground. Created by Montanan folk artist Jessica Jackson they include::

- stockade fort
- covered wagon
- bison herd
- teepee village
- soaring hawk
- pheasants
- curious wild rabbit
The top has a trompe l'ceil (fool the eye) painting portraying:
- binoculars
- national park "paperwork"
- Smokey the Bear match book
- compass. 
All four dovetailed drawers retain their original "horn" Bakelite and brass handles.

Measures 34" wide x 18" deep x 42" high.

In very good vintage condition. Structurally sound and very sturdy. All four drawers are fully functional. Front, sides, and top and been recently hand-painted and sealed. Back and drawer interiors retain their original "as found" finish. Various finish "dings" and marks commensurate with vintage age and use. Along with purposefully distressed elements within new paint finish.
