Russell Chatham (1939-2019) has long been considered the pre-eminent modern western artist. For over forty years he immortalized the raw yet romantic beauty of his beloved Montana from his home base in Livingston. This stone lithograph is entitled "Summer". One of three included in his portfolio entitled "Yellowstone River Suite". Pencil notated in lower right indicating this work is number 125 of 135. Plus the artist's cipher and year of creation. Lithograph is mounted atop mat board surrounded by a double ruled outer cut mat that is contained within a teal painted wood frame with glass. Note: Please see our separate listing for it's same sized/framed companion piece - "Winter".

Artwork itself measures 20" high x 23.5" wide
With frame the total size is 28.5" high x 34.5" wide

Art is in excellent condition with no tears. mark, folds, foxing, or issues of note. We have not removed this piece of art from its frame nor examined it's back. Frame is in very good vintage condition with a few minor "dings" and marks to painted surface.
