Beautiful set of Copeland majolica salad plates circa mid-nineteenth century. Featuring a deep, rich green glaze over high relief acanthus leaf pattern..Each is stamped with the Copeland mark (used 1847-1867) on reverse .All are in VERY GOOD antique condition. As with all majolica/faience of this period backs include kiln stilt marks plus minor OLD chips on edges and backs of several (see photos for details). No crazing on all fronts.
