This unique pair of mid-century modern Chinoiserie planters are crafted of solid mahogany. Each "box"is fitted with custom zinc galvanized inserts. Each sits on a stand and features sold brass hardware, with optional inset/fitted tops. Unmarked, we believe these were made by the George Zee Co, Hong Kong based on research and prior experience. Multipurpose - they are the perfect spot to plant your favorite flor. Or they can be used as end tables (with storage) or paired in front of a sofa.. Or they can serve their original function as coolers to chill a case of bubbly.  

Each measures 18" wide x 18" deep x 16" high (including stand). 

Both are in very good vintage condition. Various minor "dings" and marks to exterior surfaces commensurate with vintage age/use. One top corner of one planter has a "dent" and is missing a small portion of wood. Both zinc liners appear to have never been used. Please see photos for details.

Two containing one "box" per. The third transporting the two bases.
