Since first designed by Billy Baldwin for Cole Porter - these classic etageres have been considered the quintessential library accoutrement. This set of three vintage unmarked etageres adheres to the original Baldwin design (see photos). Sold as a set of three, the "single" measures 39.75" wide x 94" high, x 12" deep. Each "double" measure 79.50" wide x 94" high x 12" deep to equal a total span over over 16.5 linear feet. Since the sixties multiple manufacturers have custom crafted these shelves with variations including Victoria & Son, P.E. Guerin, Ventry/Billy Baldwin Studio, and Carole Gratale. While unmarked - these meet the quality standards of the above with impeccable machine turned and engineered polished solid brass frames, cast finials, and mahogany veneer shelves. All the details are there such as galley detailed shelf edging, "X' shelf supports, side strut supports, and adjustable feet. Custom ordered or comparable vintage versions of these etageres sell for up to $10,000 EACH or more. Outfitting the chicest of libraries has never been EASIER. Nor given our pricing... AFFORDABLE. These will NOT last long.
