Situated on the banks of Ireland's river Erne, the Belleek Pottery has produced porcelain since 1857. Highly collected and coveted - their hand-painted Shamrock pattern embodies classic Irish elegance.
This 1980's "Rathmore" vase features a three dimensional acanthus lear design with a "ruffle" top . Made of Parian Ware - a unique type of biscuit porcelain which is delicately thin, uniquely translucent, yet incredibly durable. Exterior is glazed in classic Belleek cream white the interior glows with a pale yellow "cob" luster finish. Marked on the bottom with the 7th and first gold mark which covers Belleek production circa 1980-1993.
Measures 7.25" high x a top diameter of 4".
