Situated on the banks of Ireland's river Erne, the Belleek Pottery has produced porcelain since 1857. Highly collected and coveted - their hand-painted Shamrocks embody classic Irish elegance.
This large "Nadine" fruit bowl is hand-decorated with shamrocks interspersed with three dimensional panels based on ancient Celtic designs. All tropped by a fluted border that culminates at the bowl's rim. Made of Parian Ware - a unique type of biscuit porcelain which is delicately thin, uniquely translucent, yet incredibly durable. Marked on the bottom with the 8th "Blue" mark which covers Belleek production circa 1993-1997. No longer produced - the "Nadine" makes a perfect centerpiece or serving bowl. Measures 3 5/8" high x diameter of 8.25".
