This expertly hand-carved wooden sculpture dramatically captures a medieval knight upon a rearing steed. Unsigned, this piece seems to have been created sometime in the mid-twentieth century. 

Stands at 32". high from carving top to the base of the matching stand which is 22" long x 13" deep). The sculpture itself measures 27" high x 20" wide x 8" deep. 

In beautiful vintage condition, the carving has no cracks, chips, scratches, or damage of note. However it appears to be missing a "javelin" or sword based on the empty hole in one hand. The base is structurally sound with several old cracks. See photos for details.
