This charming gilt-wood mirror is a Florentine baroque tour-de-force. Measuring at 24.5" high x 12.5" wide x 1.75" deep it's the perfect size for a hall, vestibule, or powder room. Richly carved and gilded frame features a cupid's face at its top center. Ending wiith a roaring lion at it's base. Back retains original red paper backing (ripped and frayed). Unmarked but based on experience - we are confident this piece was created in Florence, Italy.
In excellent vintage condition. Frame has with no chips, cracks, gilt loss, or damage of note. Mirror retains its reflective backing with no chips, cracks, clouding, or etching of note. See photos for details.
