Mid-century modern abstract watercolor. Painted, signed and dated 1973 by Anne J. Breiholz. A popular Californian modernist who created a range of abstract and realistic work in Saratoga from the sixties through early eighties. Matted with original gold finish frame. Purchased by the original owner with a companion work which creates a "pair". Which is available in a separate listing.
Overall with frame measures 26.5" wide x 20.25" high x 1.5" deep. Artwork image reveal itself measures 21" wide x 15" high.
In excellent original condition. No foxing, marks, rips, or tears to art itself. Frame has some minor "dings" commensurate with vintage age/use. Which have been touched up. See photos for details.
