Crafted in the early to mid 19th century of black marble and bronze - this duo pays homage to a variety of eighteenth century "temples" that adorned gardens across Europe. Most inspired by The Temple of Diana by Antonio Asprucci located in Viale della Casina di Raffaello within the park of the Villa Borghese in Rome.
Each measures 7.25" diameter x 13.25" high.
Both are in excellent antique condition. Their purposefully distressed patina includes various marks, dings, tarnish, oxidation, rust, verdigris, and surface nuances which only adds to their appeal.
