Designed in 1950 by Marie Lalique - the "Mahe Claire" vase features a dramatically angled form. However the frosted palm leaf and tropical flowers covering it's entire surface is what makes this piece a tour de force.
Circa 1990's it comes with its original box encased in a protective white cardboard outer sleeve. Includes related Lalique paperwork. A Lalique label is affixed under the center of the front just below the top rim edge. Etched signature on the bottom.
Founded a century ago in Alsace France - Lalique artisans produce unique crystal objects d'art moulded from molten glass. Which are hand finished with up to 40 proprietary steps prior to completion.
Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 6" tall.
