This beautiful vase was produced by Kosta Boda sometime in the 1990's. Gorgeous tones of amber, gold, and pale brown trail up its entire body. Purposefully elongated to make a sleek yet elegant statement. Etched signature on base reads "Kosta Boda K Engman 7080229".  
 
Measures 20.5" high x 4" wide x 2" deep.
 
Since 1978 Kjell Engman has been a leading glass artist and designer at Kosta Boda. Post studying art at "Konstfack" in Stockholm he quickly became recognized for his unique modern glass works. Raised in a family of musicians - he has also been an active rock music performer. Hence his work is known for its "lyrical" beauty. 
 
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratched, clouding, etching, or issue of note. Polished pontil bottom displays visible scratches. See photos for details.
