1980's hand-crafted studio pottery vessel toped by small "nipple" opening. .Shiny olive green glazed body. Measures 9" high x 10.5" diameter. Displays incised artist signature "Edwards" on bottom. In very good vintage condition. Structurally sound with no chips, cracks, crazing, glaze loss, or issues of note. Natural variations in color and texture from original firing. Ken Edwards (1948 - 2013) had a natural ability to mold clay into amazing works of art. While studying at the University of Puget Sound - he traveled to Japan. Where he met their national treasure - ceramicist Hamada. Embracing his zen philosophy of the craft.
 
For over thirty years Ken was considered one of Montana’s best. Respected and admired for his artistry, technical skills, and expertise. Today his work is rare and held in high regard.
