Charming seventies landscape featuring a Victorian house in a range of whites, black and brown. Painted, signed and dated 1972 by Anne Breiholz. A popular Californian modernist - Anne created a range of abstract and realistic work in Saratoga from the sixties through early eighties. This work is acrylic on canvas. Featuring delicate line work with heavy impasto accents in a range of neutrals. 

 

Original white limed wooden frame with linen inner lining. Overall the frame measures 23"wide x 19.5" high. Artwork (reveal) itself measures 17.5" wide x 13.5" high.

 

In excellent vintage condition with no canvas rips, tears, dents. No paint loss, surface cracks, or issues of note. Frame has been purposefully patinated and distressed. See photos for details.
