Chinese Famille Rose porcelain was first developed for the export trade in the late 17th century. Canton Rose was a collection of dinnerware produced in the 1970s by Hong Horizons honoring that tradition. Features highly detailed multi-hued panels portraying various domestic scenes. Surrounded by a gold ground with rose flowers and butterflies This grouping of six porcelain cup and saucer sets measure overall - 5.38" in diameter x 2.5" high. The cup itself measures 3/18" diameter - 4" from handle to rim edge x 2.18" high. The saucer alone measures 5.38" diameter x 1" high.All six cups and four saucers are in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, utensil marks, color loss, crazing, or issues of note. One saucer has a single chip on the rim underside. A second has two chips on the rim underside. However the chips are virtually invisible when the saucers are viewed from the front on a table.
