Exceedingly RARE set of seven Henriot Quimper dinner plates. Crafted in the late sixties -early seventies - each is hand-painted with a rooster at the center surrounded by a geometric border in black, ochre, orange, and green. Please note that sets of matching Quimper dinner plates are quite unusual and hence virtually impossible to find. Each plate measures 975" in diameter x 1" high.
All seven plates are in EXCELLENT vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural issues of note. However given these are hand crafted - there are some subtle surface nuances which are inherent with Quimper ware. Six of the plates have some surface glaze "crazing" with no staining beneath. Not usual for Quimper pieces created during this period. See photos for details.
