For centuries elephants have symbolized luck and prosperity. Hence many collectors own prized packs of pachyderms. This beauty was created on the island of Murano (Venice, Italy) by skilled artisans. Using the ancient "millefiori" (a thousand flowers) glass blowing technique. Molten glass is blown to creating mosaic pieces with floral forms centered within. Hundreds of these tiny pieces are fused together to form an elephant. Which is then dusted with 24K gold while it cools.

Measures 3" long x 2.25" deep x 3.75" high.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, surface etching or clouding, or issues of note.
