Since they first appeared in the late eighteenth century Bouillotte lamps have been all the craze. Developed to shed light on a popular French card game, their candelabra form features a shade which softens the light. This solid brass charmer was crafted by the Warren Kessler Company NY sometime in the mid 20th century. Highly decorated gilt brass base features three candle arms which hold wax candles. New black paper shade with gold foil lining is topped with a "feather" and ring finial. Vintage wiring features two pull sockets and is fully functional. Measures 14" in diameter x 30" high.
In excellent vintage condition with no issues of note. Brass itself shows normal polish residue and minor pitting commensurate with vintage age/use.
