Throughout the 20th century Homer Laughlin produced dinnerware in two West Virginian factories. Including highly popular "Fiesta Ware". Georgian Eggshell was introduced in 1940. Made of a durable yet lightweight semi-vitreous "eggshell" clay. The "Chateau" pattern of which was produced 1940 - 1959. It features their proprietary ivory ground with gold embellishment. A raised surface body border. With a wide pale "Robins Egg Blue" band. And floral bouquet embellishment at it's center.
30 piece service for six includes:

- Six Bread & Butter Plates 6.25" diameter
- Six Dessert Bowls 5.38" diameter
- Six Footed Teacups 4" diameter (5" rim to handle edge)
- Six Saucers 6" Diameter
In excellent condition - this 30 piece set appears to have never been used. Retains all of its gold decoration. With no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, or utensil marks.
