Beautiful pair of porcelain service plates with encrusted gold embellishment and center medallions over an ivory background..
Established in 1792, Haas & Czjzek produced fine porcelain until 1945, The 'Schaggenwald" mark indicates it was made in Horni Slavkov, Bohemia. "Czechoslovakia" indicates it was produced post 1919. However the combination of both marks dates it between 1939 and 1945. Which was when "Bohemia" (now the Czech Republic) was part of the German Third Reich.
Each plate measures 10.5" diameter x 1.25" high.
Both plates are in EXCELLENT condition with no chips, cracks, gold loss, utensil marks or issues of note.
