This charming early 1920s tall dresser started life as part of the trousseau of a Washington lumber heiress. Hand painted in a Venetian manner it was created by the Sligh Furniture Company of Grand Rapids. Which at the time claimed to be the world's leading producer of boudoir furniture. Post marrying a Montanan rancher it saw fifty years of hard use on the homestead. Then lay hidden in a barn for the next five decades. All of which only added to it's "shabby chic" patina. Measures 34" long x 20" deep x 48" high.. In very good antique condition - the piece itself is extremely well built (dove tailed drawers, hardwoods) and sturdy. The paint finish itself reflects a long life with various chips, knicks, and marks. The left side bottom was exposed to the elements at some point. However what remains is stable with no signs of further flaking. NOTE: We are selling three other items separately which were originally part of the entire "suite". A matching vanity/mirror, dresser/commode, and wall mirror are also available. See separate listings in our shop for further details.
NOTE: Shipping is in addition to the purchase price. Post payment we will work with you to secure a freight carrier to your final destination. Once a carrier has been identified an estimate will be submitted for your review. Post approval you will be billed separately for freigh via PayPal. Said process normally takes 4-6 weeks from start to delivery.
