This highly collectible porcelain pattern was first designed in 1881 by Christian Schumann and Franz Reiss in Arzberg, Bavaria. It features a bouquet of hand painted flowers surrounded by a reticulated (pierced) gilded and hand-painted border. Produced from inception up until World War Two. Re-introduced postwar from 1945 through 1963.
This large charger measures 11" in diameter. Features circa 1920's "Dresden Schumann Bavaria" mark on reverse.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, surface scratches, utensil marks, cracks, or crazing.
